  • Wichita Southeast Golden Buffaloes

    Southeast opened in 1957. The school is located at 903 S. Edgemoor in Wichita. The 6A Golden Buffaloes play in the Wichita City League.

    Southeast has won 44 state championships: baseball (1965, 1971, 1973, 1976, 1978), boys basketball (1971, 1999, 2003, 2008), boys cross country (1970, 1976, 1980), football (1976, 1977, 1978, 1980), boys golf (1963, 1964, 1966, 1970, 1976 two-man, 1979, 1996), boys swimming (1964, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973, 1976, 1977, 2003), boys tennis (1987, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992), boys track (1971 indoor, 1971 outdoor, 1997), girls basketball (1986, 1987), girls tennis (1982, 1984), girls track (1990).
