Carroll, Collegiate, Mulvane win state championships

Wichita Collegiate won its first state volleyball title, taking the Class 3A championship Saturday in two games over Phillipsburg.

Mulvane won the Class 4A cross country boys team title, while Valley Center's Morgan Wedekind won the individual girls 4A title.

Bishop Carroll boys won 5A cross country as a team, while Kapaun Mount Carmel's Mackenzie Maki won the individual girls 5A title.

Berean Academy won the 2A cross country girls team championship. Moundridge wins the 2A volleyball championship.
