Even before Ty Unrau became the Douglass coach this season, he knew about senior Jared Holthaus. Unrau had watched him while a Garden Plain assistant. Full Story →

Kendrae Arnold scored on all three of his rushing attempts, piling up 125 yards for visiting Garden Plain as coach Todd Puetz got his 100th victory. Arnold scored from 62, 22 and 41 yards in the first half and didnt carry again. The Owls (3-0) had 12 ballcarriers average 14.4 yards a carry (360 yards).
