A look at the Class 6A boys tournament
No. 8 Lawrence Free State (11-11) – Free State, back at state for the first time in six seasons, relies heavily on a scrappy defense, which has been a necessity with an offense that tends to struggles to score and too often commits turnovers. Free State has been playing well offensively lately, though, and Khadre Lane is a bright spot. The 6-4 forward/guard is athletic, averaging 13.5 points. He transferred from Bishop Seabury, a 1A school, and the transition has had its low points. But college basketball and football coaches have shown interest. Full Story →
