South boys start slow, storm past Ark City; Friday's schedule (Jan. 3)

Arkansas City stayed with Wichita South through the first half, but the Titans pulled away in the third by allowing just three points and beat Ark City 54-31 on Thursday at Koch Arena.

South was led by Jordan Moore, who scored 13 of his game-high 17 points in the first period, and Zach Brown added 10. Ark City was led by Skyler Bryant, who hit two first-quarter threes and finished with 13 points.
