Clearwater senior John Becker scored touchdowns four ways Friday night in the Indians’ 45-19 victory over Augusta in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League Division IV game at Clearwater.
Becker scored on an eight-yard catch, a 45-yard punt return, a 90-yard interception return and an 18-yard run — all in the first three quarters.
Clearwater rushed for 294 yards.
Chaydon Carter scored two touchdowns for Augusta, on a 14-yard pass reception from Tristan Finch — who scored the other TD — and a six-yard run.
Arkansas City 21, Eisenhower 13 — Ark City won its first game on the strength of 21 unanswered points. Dylan Thompson scored both of Eisenhower’s touchdowns on short runs.
Collegiate 49, Wellington 21 — The visiting Spartans moved into second place in Division IV, making it a rout by scoring the game’s final four touchdowns. Seth Carder scored three times, including runs of 54 and 34 yards, and rushed for 150 yards. Collegiate quarterback Landon Root threw for 188 yards. Austin Dunn had 180 rushing yards for Wellington.
Derby 45, Salina Central 14 — Derby quarterback Jeremy Dunham threw for four touchdowns and ran for two as the Panthers, ranked second in Class 6A, won their third straight. Dunham finished with 129 rushing yards and 202 passing, completing 9 of 11 passes. Tight end DeAndre Goolsby had five catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns.
Mulvane 46, El Dorado 17 — The host Wildcats’ 26-point second quarter put the Division III game out of reach. Michael Mason rushed for 250 yards and two touchdowns, giving him more than 1,200 rushing yards through four games. Travis House rushed for 89 yards and threw for 135 for El Dorado (0-4).
Rose Hill 27, Winfield 24 (2OT) — Rose Hill kicker Andrew Helmke kicked a 23-yard field goal in the second overtime to give the Rockets their first win. It was Winfield’s first loss. Rose Hill’s Garrett Forsberg ran for 123 yards and a touchdown, and quarterback Brett Bonar threw for 134 yards and a touchdown. Winfield’s Sam Camp threw for 189 yards and receiver Aubrey Herlocker had six catches for 142 yards.
Salina South 56, Campus 28 — Mike Jones rushed for three first-half touchdowns and a total of 99 yards as the visiting Cougars won a Division I game at Haysville. Dakota Dugan and Kaiden Ivy each scored two touchdowns for Campus, which fell to 0-4. Campus quarterback John Becker completed 12 of 20 passes for 171 yards, and Dugan caught three balls for 124 yards.
Great Bend 36, North 0 — North was held to 65 yards of offense in the shutout loss. Great Bend got 114 rushing yards from Bryce Beck and two rushing scores from Jonathan Allende.

Sedgwick 42, Ell Saline 6 — Sedgwick quarterback Brylie Ware racked up 357 yards of total offense — 256 passing and 101 rushing — along with three touchdowns to lead his team to a road win over Ell-Saline. Dalton Brandt added 117 rushing yards and two touchdowns for Sedgwick. Greer Chandler was Ware’s favorite target with five catches for 137 yards and one touchdown.
