Raleigh leads Hesston past Garden Plain
Hesston 52, Garden Plain 34 —Grant Raleigh sparked a second-half surge for Hesston’s boys on Thursday night, scoring 14 of his 16 points in the half to help the Swathers defeat Garden Plain 52-34 in a tournament game at Garden Plain.
Hesston and Garden Plain were tied at 17 at halftime. Nick Thimesch led Garden Plain in scoring with 12.

Independent 58, Douglass 52 — Brice Dean scored 22 points to help Independent defeat Douglass in the Circle Tournament. Dean scored six points in each of the first three quarters.
Haven 65, Conway Springs 47 — Luke Johnson scored 18 points to lead Haven to a Kingman tournament victory. Ross Rasmussen had 16 points and Dalton Murhy 15 for Conway Springs.
Ojeleye scores 58 — Ottawa senior Semi Ojeleye, who has signed with Duke, scored 58 points in Ottawa’s 102-29 win over Wray, Colo., on Thursday in Goodland.

Independent 36, Douglass 35 — Alise Coccetella scored 14 points to help Independent win in the Circle Tournament, its first victory of the season.
Haven 35, Conway 31 — Haven connected on five three-pointers and hit 8 of 10 free throws to edge Conway Springs in the Kingman Tournament. Conway Springs hit 8 of 17 free thows.
