The area teams in are Northwest and Maize in 6A, Carroll in 5A and Trinity in 4-1A.

Carroll’s semifinal matchup is against Aquinas, the team that beat Carroll. Trinity plays St. James, which comes in with a losing record and has long been the favorite to win 4-1A.
