Brianna Caldwell, plagued by foul trouble, scored seven of her 15 points in the fourth quarter, helping Northwest pull out a 44-39 victory Tuesday at South. South senior guard Shauna Chauncey kept the Titans close, scoring 18 of her game-high 25 points in the second half. But she was called for an offensive foul with 3:02 left in the game, and suffered an ankle injury as well. She returned two minutes later, but South couldn’t overcome the deficit. Northwest’s Mac Mills-paugh hit four free throws in the final minute to keep the Grizzlies ahead. South held Northwest to one point in the second quarter and led 16-13 at the half.
